Is it possible for me to file for our Green Card through another employer since
my current employer is not willing to file for my GC and would it be in EB1
category

Yes, you can file the employment-based petition through any employer who is willing to sponsor you on the basis of an offer of full time employment in the future; it does not have to be your current employer. However, what classification it will be will depend on what type of position it is, its requirements and your qualifications therefor. It is usually not a EB1 unless you qualify under some outstanding or extraordinary ability category.
