If a minor has been convicted of a crime, the conviction will not show up with respect to that person on any background check for employment for the simple reason that all criminal records of a minor are sealed by state law in this country.
The only way a minor's criminal record can be unsealed is through a lengthy process and petitions to the court with notice to the person who was convicted of the crime when he or she was under the age of 18.
