Yes, if a judgment is obtained against you in one state, the judgment creditor can then move for an order to allow a sister state judgment in another state where you may have assets such as a bank account. If the sister state judgment is obtained, very well a levy will result on your bank account.
I suggest that the best way to try and resolve the judgment that you may owe is to enter into a written agreement with the creditor to make monthly payments on a stated amount. Keep a copy of any signed agreement for future use and need.
