Under the laws of all states in this country one's employment is terminable at the will of the employer absent any issues of discrimination based upon being a member of a protected class. From what you have written, it seems that all you can do is make a claim for unemployment benefits.
To be on the safe side you should consult with a labor law attorney about your matter and/or a representative with your local department of labor.
