If I just got fired as a nanny to a family, does my employer need to still pay me for 2 more weeks?
Since our contract we both signed, says 2 weeks notice for both parties for termination?

Does your contract state with or without cause? If there is no mention of why you are terminated, then you have a good argument the family must pay you for those two weeks. If the provision in the contract mentions an exception for being fired for cause (i.e., you did something wrong), then the family has a good argumen for not having to pay you.
