How do I find out if my mother left a Will?
If she didn’t and it’s just my brother and I left. Am I entitled to anything?

If your mother passed away leaving you and your brother her only surviving heirs without a Will or trust in place then under the intestacy laws of your state you and he equally share in her estate.
In order to ascertain of your mother had a Will or trust in effect you should do the following:
1. contact various attorneys that she may have had contact with to see if one drew up a Will or trust for her;
2. go through your mother's personal belongings at her home to see if you can find such a document.
