How can I stop the police from continuing to come to my residence looking for someone who no longer resides here?

My roommate hasn’t lived here for over 6 months. I’ve told the police numerous times that he doesn’t live here anymore but they keep coming back.

Unfortunately there really is not much you can do to keep law enforcement from coming to your residence looking for a former roommate as part of its investigation. Law enforcement has some investigation going on regarding him and your residence is one address that it apparently has for him.

All I can suggest is that you simply be pleasant and cooperate with the investigating officer or officers and provide as much helpful information as possible. Hopefully your former roommate will be located where as a result you will not be bothered in the future.
