How do you allow the nursing home to take charge of estate? That doesn't sound correct.
So I don't know what will happen. If someone else is in charge of the estate, is there a will or trust or is intestate. Did you father already pass away? Was he competent when he made someone else in charge of his estate?
I am not sure what you are seeking so please either make a clearer description in a new posting or contact an attorney in Massachussets. Try www.attorneypages.com and check his or her record at the Massachusetts State Bar.
